You should first try to resolve the contractual dispute with your retailer. For meter-related disputes, retailers will facilitate the resolution between consumers and SP Group. Retailers are expected to resolve all disputes within 30 calendar days upon notification.

If you are unable to resolve any dispute with your retailer, you can approach the Singapore Mediation Centre for advice and assistance.

Alternatively, you can seek recourse through the Small Claims Tribunal for claim values not exceeding $10,000 (or $20,000 should you and your retailer agree).

Before you sign up with a retailer, do look through the key contractual terms such as price, contract duration, payment terms, security deposit, early termination charges and auto-renewal clauses.
